Instructor Biography: Richard J. Hinds, a former student of D'Valda and Sirico, is currently the Associate Director for NEWSIES on Broadway. His other Directing and Choreography credits include FAME, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, CABARET, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, ALL SHOOK UP 2011 DANCEBREAK. He has served as the Assistant/Associate on A CHRISTMAS STORY the musical, 9 TO 5, Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (National/International Tours), PIPPIN with Deaf West, THE FIRST WIVES CLUB, the Off-Broadway production of FRANKENSTEIN, A WONDERFUL LIFE, and BROADWAY UNDER THE STARS. Upcoming credits include choreographing productions of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and HAIRSPRAY as well being the Associate Choreographer for ROCKY, the musical opening in Hamburg Germany.
