At Dance Teacher Web we are excited to have members from all over the world. Let's use this post to get to know each other and to talk about all things involved in being a dance teacher. one thing for sure, no matter what country you teach in, we all face many of the same issues, challenges and excitement. So lets get the conversation going!

Hello, every year after the recital I receive great feed back. However, the one question I'm asked why the dancers wont smile? I have tried making it a part of their routine. HELP any tips or suggestions on how you get your students to smile while dancing.

Are they new dancers? I find if I can find a song they are excited about it keeps the energy level up and smiles too. I had some help with my older students on this one but one dance we did this year the girls got to yell in the dance and they really liked that! Best of Luck!
