YES!! It’s that time of year again when we are getting closer to our annual Dance Teacher Web Conference & Expo at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada! Join us July 27th-30th for what is sure to be the most knowledge, dance and info packed conference of the season!! From a vast array of movement classes, business classes and endless events, there is something for every teacher and studio owner from around the world! With our talented, multi-faceted and eclectic faculty, there is no end to the professional development and inspiration you will acquire and bring back to your own students and studios!

Led by our very own Angela D’Valda Sirico and Steve Sirico, we are certain this year’s conference and expo will be the one to beat! We chatted with co-director Steve Sirico about this year’s goodies!

Steve, are you and Angela amped up for this season’s DTW Conference and Expo?! Yes we are very excited. Dance Teacher Web’s mission is to provide inspiration, ideas and help for dance teachers and studio owners. This year’s event will be our best one yet and is full of everything that is unique about Dance Teacher Web. Plus there are many special events planned that are fun. Hey it is Vegas after all!

What are some of the new additions and classic favorites we can expect to the schedule line-up? This year’s event will feature two special master classes one the first day and one to end the conference on the last day. We have two blockbuster names and will be announcing who they are on June 10th. Plus our business seminars are unique that you will not find anywhere else. We take pride in presenting a show that is diverse and welcoming to all teachers. Material presented will be from pre-school through advanced. The business seminars are going to be full of new and exciting content to help studio owners build their businesses and learn about cutting edge technology.

Who are some of the amazing world-wide faculty we can expect to see this year? Some of the new teachers include James Whiteside principal with American Ballet Theater, Ricky Hinds who is associate director of Newsies and tapper extraordinaire Aaron Turner from “So You Think You Can Dance” . Returning favorites will be Leslie Scott, Liz Impero and Judy Ann Bassing plus many more!

How do you think the conference has grown year after year? I think a big factor is that we pamper our attendees. I know how I like to be treated at a conference and our team goes the extra mile to make sure everyone has a great time. We are so thankful to have a great staff and team of master teachers to help us pull it off!

What can a first time conference and expo goer expect from DTW Conference & Expo? They can expect to discover new techniques and styles that will help them grow, be inspired and to leave with a new found sense of energy. Teachers are always giving; here is their chance to get!

What can returning attendees expect for something fresh & new this year? A night of dancing stars under the stars! On Monday night we will be setting up a stage poolside where attendees will enjoy and incredible night of song and dance. We are launching Dance Teacher University Level II this year with our partner The University of Las Vegas. This is a new and cutting edge teacher training program that is unlike anything else out there. For more information you can visit www.danceteacheruniversity.org

Plus we are very excited about this year’s pre-conference seminar “The Studio Blueprint for Success Lab where studio owners will get hands on presentation to their most pressing issues.

How does this conference stand out from the rest? We offer many different options for dance teachers and business owners. With over 100 classes and seminars, special events and a world class expo we have everything the hard working dance teacher is looking for. Our mission is part of our tag line, “The Conference & Expo That Gives You More!”

Thanks Steve!

We'll see you all in the dance studio in Vegas July 27th-30th! ;)
