Well.... It’s a wrap! We can’t believe the Dance Teacher Web Live Conference & Expo 2018 has come and gone already but what an incredible few days it’s been. So much to reflect upon, on our ten year anniversary. We must start with saying how this, being our biggest year yet was due to not only an amazing number of attendees but the energy they brought with them. From Day #1, everyone was ready to share and learn. Everyone was so invested and wanting to absorb everything they could out of the event. This is always our hope and wish for everyone who attends and boy was it infectious! Attendees to faculty to exhibitors to our wonderful staff were buzzing with enthusiasm, positivity and readiness! It's really been so exciting for us to come in and share with everyone.... and it keeps getting better year after year! You all are our inspiration.

What we set out to do with DTW LIVE was to create an oasis for Dance Teachers and Studio Owners where the focus was on them, their mission, their vantage point, challenges, goals, professional development as well as artistry. With your input and insightful thoughts and discussions, we’re proud to have created a network where we can come together and share a common bond while continuing education from some of the best in the business. What we want you to understand is that while you may be learning from us, we also learn from you, our peers. It’s this mutual respect and dynamic which makes Dance Teacher Web so successful and we THANK YOU for your continued openness and desire to learn….and DANCE!

As we are all still coming down from an amazing few days, the highlights are endless. We’re proud to have presented a schedule which was so versatile, the types of classes and seminars offered hopefully had a little something for everyone. We are also still in awe over our guest artists, David Winters, Wayne Sleep, Carlos Vargas and Lacey Schwimmer. Talk about a lineup of talent and historical legends! We overheard a lot of teachers saying they were trying new classes they never have before and that was music to our ears! We loved hearing how attendees were open and eager to try new things and that’s exactly our mission for this conference.

We also hope everyone enjoyed the Expo events and took the opportunity to meet with our incredible exhibitors who couldn’t have been more generous and excited to meet and talk with our attendees! Nobody throws a Vegas Party like us and we saw all of you rocking out at our Opening Night Party, which was a huge success thanks to our sponsors at Harlequin Floors. Costume Gallery and our Poolside Fashion Show Breakfast was also another favorite amongst attendees and faculty and we hope with all the hard work you all put in, you found some time to play as well! You deserve it! It also gave all of us the opportunity to meet, mingle and chat with all of you; which we absolutely love doing.

So, with that said, we hope you walk away with enough inspiration and knowledge to get you pumped for the start of your new season. We know your students will be on the receiving end of all this new, juicy, rich information you come away with and we can’t wait to hear the stories of your upcoming success and progress.

Once again, we want to send out a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for another wonderful DTW Live Conference & Expo this year. Your energy and desire to learn is contagious and makes us want to continually bring you the newest, freshest ideas in the art of teaching dance and running your studio! Our commitment to you will continue to bring you new insight and tips and tools of the trade while we gear up for another amazing conference next year...

We will have a new home in 2019... Join us at Planet Hollywood in Vegas July 29th - August 1st 2019 and we can’t wait to see you there!!!

Thanks to all! Have a wonderful rest of your summer season and kick off to fall!

See you in the dance studio,

Jess and the entire DTW Family
