NEW!!! THREE PART SERIES - MOTHERHOOD & DANCE: A BALANCING ACT

Type:

Blog

Hi everyone!

Happy New Year! With 2020 now upon us I wanted to bring a little something different to the blog, so I’d like to introduce a three part series focusing on how we, as dance teachers and studio owners balance that with motherhood. It’s such an important topic that is often overlooked concerning topics including: teaching during pregnancy, getting back into shape mentally and physically post pregnancy, how to juggle teaching and taking care of an infant, finding creativity and inspiration when you’re exhausted, finding quality alone time for you, etc.

Hopefully, we as a community can build a network within our dance family network for resources, encouragement and peer inspiration. I certainly hope to offer my advice and experience and remind you, you are both dancer and Mom and each identity should be treasured and valued!
So, check out the blog starting next Monday for my first entry on, "Taking your baby to work.." and I’ll see you in the dance studio, Moms! Hope you enjoy it!
Take some time for you!
Jess
