Anthony Raimondi is an actor, director and choreographer based in New York City. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, he is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a BFA in Dance and BS Business Marketing. While attending the University of Arizona he had the opportunity to perform work created by the school’s world-renowned faculty as well as work created by the well-known artists and icons Mia Michaels and Donald McKale.
Anthony is represented by Lucille DiCampli Artists and is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association. As a performer, Anthony has had the pleasure of performing with the company of Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago just before hitting the road with the both the National and International tours of West Side Story. He had the chance to compete as one of the top 150 dancers on So You Think You Can Dance and has performed in a number of different commercial venues across the United States including fashion shows, commercials and most recently, television shows like the Emmy Award winning series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Anthony has had the pleasure of working with, training with and assisting some of this industry’s most influential and notable artists including Joey Mckneely, Parker Esse, Jeffery Denman, Andrew Turtletaub, KC Castellano, Marguerite Derricks, Al Blackstone, Richard J. Hinds, Tyce Diorio and more.
As a director/choreographer, Anthony has been a part of creating many large scale productions including Newsies at La Miranda Theater. Additionally he has become a trusted name in recreating original Jerome Robbins choreography for West Side Story. He has re-staged this masterpiece for recent national and international tours as well as regional theaters like Asolo Reperatory Theater and Orlando Shakespeare Theater. Anthony has also donated time to Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids helping to create pieces for BCEFA’s Easter Bonnet Competition and Broadway Bares.
